HOW:

  1. To get started using SoundEar3-310 or SoundEar3 XL, connect it to a PC running the SoundEar Software and use the menu ‘Define settings’ to set when you want the light to turn red. It is highly recommended to set the device to turn red at 85 dB, making sure to follow the noise regulations for wearing hearing protection
  2. Next, find a visible spot to mount it on the wall. Avoid placing it close to any sound absorbent materials such as soft fabrics or close to any noisy machinery, because it can affect the noise measurements.
  3. Start using the SoundEar Software to get insights into your noise levels and to make sure that you have proper documentation for your noise levels.

The Difference between SoundEar3-310 and SoundEar3 XL:

The only difference between the products SoundEar3-310 and SoundEar3 XL is that the SoundEar3 XL is a bigger model.

The dimensions:

  • SoundEar3-310: L: 265 mm W: 205 mm H: 46 mm.
  • SoundEar3 XL: L:595 mm W: 412 mm H: 59 mm

Other than that, the two products are identical and come with the same features and software. It is only a matter of how big a sign you want for your specific needs.
